At Domaine LeRiche our goal is to handcraft quality culinary products from humanely raised, happy animals. After 20 years of traveling the world together, we are bringing our favorite flavors and recipes to your doorstep.

We care for our herd of registered Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats like family, providing the best quality nutrition, veterinary care and husbandry practices we can, including annual biosecurity testing for CAE, CL and Johne's. We are always learning and growing, and use genetic pedigrees, health data and milk testing to help us improve each generation to cultivate a herd with esteemed genetics and high-quality milk product that our customers and our family can enjoy.

Pele brings the best of milking genetics to our herd. Her sire is Elite buck SG Sugar Moon V High Roller ++*B, full brother to Elite SG Sugar Moon V Zuzanna 4*M/7*D AR3268 +VVV87, the highest-producing Nigerian Dwarf goat of all time. And her dam made the 2022 ND Top Ten list for milk production and protein. Pele's pedigree is packed with Elite and high-performing goats from Sugar Moon, NC Promisedland and Old Mountain Farm lines. Meadowlark is also bringing a big milk pail game to our herd. Her udder is capacious with nice long teats, and she is very easy to milk. She came to us 5 months fresh and still producing very good volumes. In her previous herd her average STD Fat equated to 7.4% butterfat and we are excited to see how she improves with our nutrition program.

Kidding Season 2024
We selectively breed our does to cultivate high-quality milk production and maintain sound conformation and health of our goats. We use genetic pedigrees, health data, and milk testing to help us improve each generation.
We have a free reservation list for each breeding, and once kids are born and evaluated any available kids from the litter will be offered in order of the reservation list, with preference to performance homes. To hold an offered kid, a deposit is required, and full payment is due at time of pick-up. We are open to work with transport services, but this must be arranged & paid for by buyer.
Kids will be in good health when leaving our farm, and education provided for maintaining said health. Kids usually go to their new homes between 8-16 weeks of age, and will have their first CDT vaccine, be disbudded (except in rare agreements with buyers), be socialized to the bottle and people, and be tattooed with permanent identification. Health record and registration/transfer paperwork will also be provided.

Breeding plans for Spring 2024 kids are currently being finalized, and will be posted once breedings are confirmed. The bucks we will use all have their *B and may have other performance awards and/or show wins.
